An Anniversary to Remember: Rocky Patel Twentieth Anniversary
After four long years of perfecting their blend, Rocky Patel is proud to present the celebration of their 20th anniversary blend. With a blend of primarily Honduran tobaccos, including a Honduran wrapper and Nicaraguan and Honduran fillers from Jalapa and Estelí, and Jamastran respectively, this cigar is sure to be a hit!
Aroma and Flavor
You’ll find a variety of aromas when you light up this cigar, including chocolate, leather, and a hint of pistachio. On some samples, you can even pick up a hint of Reese’s Puffs! The cold draw has sweet cocoa, orange, and some meatiness. As you smoke it, you’ll experience a balance of bold flavors, including orange peels, meatiness, salty popcorn, French onion soup, and nuttiness. The draw starts slightly open and stays that way through much of the first third. In the second third, you’ll notice a minerality that’s more distinct than ever before. Through the nose, you’ll get a zesty orange. The finish has some nuttiness and sweet vanilla.
The final third takes a darker note with a lot of bourbon-like flavors, notably a smoky oak note. Through the nose there’s a bit of peppermint and salty popcorn. At around the inch-mark, you’ll find a really unique rice flavor, reminiscent of Basmati rice. The Rocky Patel Twentieth finishes medium-full with medium strength.

The Twentieth Anniversary comes in five sizes: Lancero 7½” x 38, Rothschild 4½” x 50, Robusto Grande 5″ x 54, Toro 6″ x 52, Sixty 6″ x 60. It’s a small size but despite the dual bands, there’s still a fair bit of the Honduran wrapper showing.
